An OEM self service kiosk supplier needs the actual peripheral models, service requirements and installation conditions behind a cabinet rendering. A visual concept can establish color, branding and the broad arrangement. It cannot establish that a printer can discharge paper, a reader fits with its cables attached or a technician can replace a component after the kiosk is installed.
Use a selected LINGHUFOX product as the starting assembly, then identify every requested change. Evaluate the resulting design through drawings, component documentation and a representative assembled sample. This guide describes that proposed review; it does not claim that a custom configuration or a particular third-party device has already been validated.
The 21.5-inch self order and checkout kiosk combines an item counter, a tilted touchscreen, an adjustable payment mount and a freestanding base. If it is the starting point, mark which of those elements remain and which change. A different counter, reader position or printer can affect several parts of the assembly even when the front view looks similar.
The 27-inch self order and checkout kiosk lists a scanner, thermal printer, card/NFC reader and wide item tray. Use its described arrangement to begin the peripheral discussion, then request the exact offered models. Do not fill a new component schedule by inferring device identities from a product photograph.
The 21.5-inch wall mount self order kiosk and 27-inch wall mount version offer ordering, payment and receipt arrangements in different screen sizes. Their installation depends on the wall-side mounting, cable and service conditions. A freestanding design’s rear access cannot simply be assumed available once a related assembly is placed against a wall.
Describe the intended customer action beside each requested change. Moving a receipt outlet may make collection easier, but the printer still needs a suitable paper route. Moving a payment device may improve its visibility while increasing the space needed behind the mounting plate. The OEM review should connect the visual request with the physical function it changes.
LINGHUFOX’s customization and requirement-review information identifies logo, casing, software and interface discussions as part of its project scope. Confirm feasibility and evidence for the particular request. The existence of a customization service does not make every proposed combination a previously proven product.
Ask for a component schedule before the new openings and brackets are finalized. It should name the display, computer, printer, payment reader, scanner, power supplies and any additional device included in the proposal. Record the relevant version and supplied accessories. A mounting bracket, paper guide or connector adapter may be essential to the fit even when it is absent from a simplified product image.
For each component, obtain the manufacturer’s outline and installation information. Include connector projections, cable access, moving covers and the required removal route. The external kiosk drawing should identify its axes and final dimensions clearly, with the selected mount or base included where relevant. Keep cabinet dimensions separate from the space an installer or service operator needs around it.
| Component | Operating space to review | Service action to demonstrate |
|---|---|---|
| Receipt printer | Paper travel and customer collection area | Open the cover, load the specified roll and access the approved removal route |
| Payment reader | Customer view and the required presentation area | Reach the authorized connections and replace the selected device |
| Scanner | Actual item presentation and usable scan area | Access its mounting and connection as specified |
| Computer and power components | Connections and the designed ventilation arrangement | Identify, isolate and service through the manufacturer’s procedure |
Apply that record to the selected LINGHUFOX form. On the counter-equipped 21.5-inch kiosk, the item surface, display and adjustable payment mount must be reviewed together. On the 27-inch checkout unit, the wider item-tray arrangement must leave the selected scanner and output accessible. Neither product-family description supplies a complete mechanical integration record for a new peripheral.
If the buyer supplies a reader or another device, agree when the supplier receives its current documentation and an appropriate sample. Identify the exact version and all accessories used for the fit review. A drawing of the bare device may omit the bracket, cable or connector that will accompany the delivered part. Record any temporary substitute used during development so its dimensions are not silently carried into the final kiosk assembly. The component owner should confirm the intended production version before the design is released.

A narrow decorative slot is not a complete printer design. The paper must travel through the chosen path, be presented as intended and leave the outlet without being trapped by the surrounding surface. Review the longest intended receipt and the selected paper configuration with the printer installed behind the proposed front panel.
Epson’s EU-m30 developer guide includes specific integration guidance for mounting brackets, paper discharge and the space required when the roll-paper cover is open. It illustrates why an embedded printer needs its installation documentation alongside the cabinet drawing. Its dimensions and procedures apply to that model; they should not be copied into a LINGHUFOX proposal using a different printer.
Star’s SK1-211 kiosk-printer information describes horizontal and vertical versions, with presenter and paper-holder options. That is another example of how the selected printing arrangement changes the integration. Confirm the actual printer and options before fixing the outlet, paper storage space and service direction in a custom 21.5-inch or 27-inch unit.
Ask the sample reviewer to follow the approved paper-loading procedure with the assembly in its intended position. Then print the agreed customer output through the finished opening. Record any contact between paper, trim and surrounding components. A change to the bezel or decorative face should trigger a review of that path even when the printer itself is unchanged.
The 21.5-inch checkout product’s adjustable payment mount creates a specific design question: which reader and mounting position are being approved? Include the reader’s complete outline, mounting method and connected cables. Have the payment-device supplier identify any required clear areas and installation restrictions for the selected model.
Verifone’s UX700 information describes an integrated device for attended or unattended payment use. It is an example of a component with its own operating platform and integration scope, rather than a generic symbol to place on a kiosk rendering. Its appearance or capabilities do not establish that the same device is supplied with a LINGHUFOX cabinet.
For the 27-inch checkout arrangement, review the actual card/NFC reader listed in the offer with its service provider. Make sure custom trim and branding leave the required customer actions understandable. Approval of mechanical fit should remain separate from approval of payment integration and the conditions of the intended deployment.
A wall-mounted terminal may look compact because its rear face is hidden. That makes its maintenance route especially important. For either LINGHUFOX wall-mounted ordering size, request the proposed access method before planning nearby joinery. Identify how paper is replenished, how approved controls are reached and how the serviceable components are removed.
Use the sample or an accurate assembly representation to show a service panel in its fully open position. Include the space for the operator, the component being handled and its connections. Check the route after the surrounding counter, wall return or decorative enclosure is added. The relevant question is whether the intended service action remains possible in the installed environment.

For a freestanding counter-equipped design, repeat the review with the base, counter and neighboring equipment in place. Identify which parts remain installed during ordinary service and which actions need a trained technician. Use the selected assembly’s safe isolation and servicing procedure. This article does not specify internal repair steps or permission to disconnect energized components.
Also retain a clear identification method for replaceable devices. The service team should be able to match the printer or reader to the accepted component schedule. If an alternative part is proposed later, review its physical space, connectors and operating behavior before treating it as interchangeable.
Mechanical fit is only one part of the sample review. The selected computer, display, printer and peripherals need an appropriate power and thermal design within the enclosure. Ask the supplier to document the offered components and the conditions under which the assembled unit will be evaluated. The engineering review should account for simultaneous operation instead of relying only on an idle screen.
Keep the intended covers and cable arrangement in place during the agreed evaluation. A custom panel, additional device or relocated power supply can change the original arrangement. Record the actual workload, ambient conditions and acceptance criteria chosen by the responsible engineers. Do not turn an unmeasured “runs all day” statement into evidence of acceptable temperatures or electrical design.
If the project requests a protection rating, identify the exact complete assembly and applicable evidence. IEC 60529 describes classification of protection provided by enclosures. A claim about a component or an attractive sealed-looking front is insufficient to establish the rating of a customized kiosk with its final openings, connections and service covers. The supplier and relevant assessment provider should agree the required evaluation.
Run the intended application and actual peripherals as part of the sample plan. Verify touch input, printing, scanning and the agreed payment-device communication in the appropriate test environment. If any function uses a simulator or a substitute component, identify that limitation. The physical rendering and the working integration should point to the same released configuration.
Custom counters, brackets and projecting devices can change how the kiosk is protected for transport. Confirm which parts ship attached, which are separately packed and what assembly is required at the destination. Include the selected reader mount, printer, scanner and wall or floor installation hardware in the packing discussion. A previous product’s package should not be assumed suitable for a changed assembly.
ASTM D4169 addresses performance evaluation of shipping units against distribution conditions. It provides a technical reference for a packaging specialist to consider when defining an appropriate plan. This is not a claim that a LINGHUFOX custom kiosk has passed that practice or that one test sequence is correct for every shipping method.
Retain the accepted appearance, assembly drawings, component schedule, interface record, sample results and packing arrangement under the same revision. Mark any later change and identify which evidence must be repeated. If the printer changes, the paper path may need another review; if the mounting changes, the installed access and shipping protection may also be affected.
An OEM self service kiosk supplier can make a proposal concrete when the visual concept is connected to identifiable devices and observable functions. The buyer’s approval should follow the assembled product’s customer use, service access, operating evidence and delivery arrangement. That record gives the design a clear basis for manufacture and later support.
